Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance and Controlling , preferably with strong domain experience in FMCG or Retail . The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP FICO solutions while working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules across business processes.
Handle General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA) and Bank Accounting .
Work on Controlling (CO) including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders and Product Costing.
Manage integration of FICO with MM, SD, PP and other SAP modules .
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
Lead end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement and support activities.
Configure taxation, payment processes, financial statements, validations, substitutions and account determination.




Support month-end/year-end closing and financial reporting processes.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams.
Conduct testing, defect resolution, user training and documentation.
Work with business users and stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

Required Skills:
10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO.
Solid expertise in SAP FI and CO configuration and support .
Solid knowledge of GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting .
Mandatory: Relevant domain experience in FMCG or Retail.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of FI-MM and FI-SD integration .
Experience with end-to-end implementation and production support .
Positive understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
