Role Description This is a full time, in office TIG Welder role based in Mumbai. The TIG Welder will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on various metals according to technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications. Day-to-day tasks include setting up welding equipment, selecting appropriate filler materials, preparing and positioning workpieces, and ensuring precise, clean welds. The role involves inspecting completed welds for accuracy and defects, performing basic maintenance on tools and machinery, and following safety procedures and quality standards at all times.



The TIG Welder will collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and support continuous improvement in the workshop.
Qualifications
Strong TIG welding skills with experience working on different metals (e.g., stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum) and thicknesses.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication blueprints accurately.
Solid understanding of welding safety practices, use of personal protective equipment, and workshop safety procedures.
Basic knowledge of welding equipment setup, operation, and routine maintenance, including gas flow, current settings, and electrode selection.
Attention to detail, steady hand-eye coordination, and ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds with minimal supervision.
Prior experience in a fabrication shop, manufacturing plant, or similar industrial environment is preferred.
Relevant vocational training, certification in welding, or completion of a welding course from a recognized institute is an advantage.
Willingness to work in office in Mumbai, follow company policies, and meet production deadlines reliably.
