Logistics & Delivery Coordinator – Import Container Operations

Location: Cochin Kerala

Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating import container deliveries from vessel arrival to final delivery, including customer planning, vehicle placement, driver/transporter follow-up, POD collection, documentation, and system updates.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor vessel arrival and update customers on container status.

· Obtain and follow up on customer delivery planning.

· Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and share delivery details.

· Track vehicle and driver movement until final delivery.

· Coordinate with customers, transporters, drivers, shipping lines, and internal teams.

· Inform customers about demurrage and other applicable charges.

· Collect and verify POD and delivery documents.

· Update delivery status in ERP/software and Google Sheets/MIS.





· Follow up on pending/delayed deliveries and ensure timely container closure.

Required Skills

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Strong follow-up ability.

· Knowledge of import container and transportation operations.

· Positive knowledge of MS Excel & Google Sheets.

· Ability to manage multiple shipments and work under pressure.

· Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
