Role Description The News Research & Social Media Executive intern will support daily news operations by monitoring multiple news sources, identifying key stories, and conducting background research to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Responsibilities include assisting with news writing and story summaries, drafting social media posts, and helping to schedule and update content across platforms. The intern will collaborate with editorial and digital teams to enhance audience engagement through timely updates, basic data collection, and content performance tracking. This is a full-time,



on-site internship role based in the Greater Patna Area, requiring consistent presence in the office and active participation in team activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong News Writing and Writing skills for creating explicit, concise, and engaging content.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members and conveying information accurately.
- Candidates should possess solid Research skills to verify facts, gather background information, and support story development.
- Candidates should possess basic Broadcasting awareness or interest in digital news distribution and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with major social media channels (such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube) and basic content scheduling tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site full time in the Greater Patna Area and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced news environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to detail, ethical approach to news, and interest in current affairs and social issues are highly valued.
