Key Responsibilities
Steam Generation: Monitor and maintain accurate steam pressure, temperature, and water levels required for daily dairy processing lines.
Water Treatment: Manage boiler feed pumps and chemical water treatment systems to prevent scaling and ensure clean, high-quality steam.
Fuel & Efficiency: Control fuel consumption (such as wood or coal in regional setups) and track boiler performance metrics.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain daily log sheets, statutory records, and adhere to strict boiler safety regulations and pressure vessel standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Certification: A valid 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate
Education: An ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Experience: Require 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating industrial boilers, with food processing or dairy manufacturing background valued.
