Orion Conmerx Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Merchandiser – Leather Garments with strong knowledge of leather garment manufacturing, buyer handling, production coordination, and export order execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle buyer communication and manage orders from development stage through final shipment.
- Prepare, monitor, and regularly update T&A;, OIH, Production File, order status, and shipment-related reports.
- Coordinate with Sampling, Leather, Trims, Stores, Cutting, Production, Quality, Finishing, Packing, and Shipping teams.
- Ensure timely approvals of samples, leather, trims, accessories, patterns, size sets, and other buyer requirements.
- Monitor planned vs. actual dates and proactively highlight delays, deviations, and critical issues to management.
- Ensure timely and complete Production File handover with all required approvals, documents, specifications, and clearances.
- Follow up on leather availability, cutting plans, production status, finishing, packing, and shipment readiness.
- Ensure all buyer specifications, quality standards, compliance requirements, and delivery timelines are strictly followed.
- Coordinate with buyers and internal teams for order changes, revised PCDs, shipment dates,



and production priorities.
- Maintain accurate merchandising records and provide timely status updates to senior management.
- Support costing, consumption, order planning, material requirement, and production feasibility wherever required.
- Handle multiple styles and buyers simultaneously and ensure smooth coordination across departments.
- Identify bottlenecks at an early stage and take timely corrective action to avoid production or shipment delays.
- Guide junior merchandisers and ensure proper reporting discipline and timely follow-ups within the merchandising team.

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in leather garment merchandising, preferably with a reputed export house.
- Strong understanding of leather garments, production processes, T&A;, costing, material planning, quality, and shipment execution.
- Good communication, coordination, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Must be capable of independently handling buyers and complete order execution.
- Solid working knowledge of Excel, MIS reporting, and merchandising documentation.
- Ability to work under timelines and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma / Degree in Fashion, Apparel, Leather Technology, Merchandising, or a related field.
