Zentora Global is hiring a Medicaid Billing Specialist to manage end-to-end billing and revenue cycle operations for US healthcare clients. This is a fully remote position working US business hours.

You'll own claims from submission through payment — making sure they go out clean, denials get worked rapid, and accounts receivable stays current. If you know Medicaid billing well and like owning a process rather than just processing tickets, this is a good fit.

Shift & Schedule

- Timings: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM IST (aligns with approx. 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM US Eastern Time)
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Weekly off: Saturday and Sunday — fixed
- Location: Remote (work from home, India)

What You'll Do
- Prepare, review, and submit Medicaid claims (CMS-1500) through clearinghouses and payer portals
- Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and coverage before services are billed
- Manage prior authorizations and track authorization limits
- Post payments, ERAs, and EOBs; reconcile against expected reimbursement
- Work rejections and denials — identify root cause, correct, appeal, and resubmit within payer timelines
- Run AR follow-up and aging reports; escalate stalled claims
- Apply correct CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and modifier combinations
- Maintain accurate billing records and produce regular reporting for clients and management
- Keep all work HIPAA-compliant and audit-ready

What You Need




- 2 years of hands-on US Medicaid billing experience (this is required — please don't apply with general accounting or non-US billing experience only)
- Working knowledge of the full revenue cycle: eligibility → authorization → claim → denial → AR → payment
- Solid grasp of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding and modifier usage
- Experience with clearinghouses and payer portals (Availity, Office Ally, Waystar, or similar)
- Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets for reconciliation and reporting
- Strong written English — you'll communicate directly with US-based teams
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated work-from-home setup

Added Advantage
- QuickBooks experience (Online or Desktop)
- ADP experience (payroll and workforce management)
- Experience with state-specific Medicaid programs or managed care organizations
- Behavioral health, home health, or therapy billing background
- Familiarity with EHR/practice management systems (Kareo, AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, TherapyNotes, or similar)
- Medical billing certification (CPB, CPC, or equivalent)
