Role & responsibilities
Leading the development for django Python-based engineering and digitalization applications within the global development organization.
Development and maintenance of digital solutions for engineering processes, automation, data processing and AI-supported applications.
Support and coaching of the development team through technical guidance, code reviews and knowledge transfer.
Analysis of business requirements and creation of technical concepts and software architectures.
Independent development of complex backend services, APIs and application components using Django Python.
Responsibility for software quality, development standards and technical documentation.
Support of Kubernetes-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.




Coordination of technical activities with stakeholders and development teams.

Preferred candidate profile
Advanced coding skills in python. (Proven track record)
Very good understanding in designing and structuring code bases
Very positive knowledge in the python framework Django
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Positive knowledge in creating UML and documentation.
Knowledge in relational database languages. (e.g. SQL)
Proven track record with the development workplace Visual Studio/VS Code and web-based DevOps lifecycle tools (Git & GitLab)
Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English
