Job Purpose To manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely reporting, and support the management in financial and statutory matters.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting entries, ledgers, cash and bank transactions.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
Prepare and verify invoices, receipts, payments and supporting documents.
Monitor outstanding payments and follow up for collections.
Perform bank, cash and ledger reconciliations.
Assist with monthly financial statements, MIS reports and management reports.
Maintain proper records for GST, TDS and other statutory requirements and coordinate with consultants when required.
Verify workshop/service-related billing and ensure proper accounting of parts, labour and other income.
Coordinate with Service, Parts and Administration departments for accurate financial records.
Support audits and ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all financial information.
Requirements
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
Experience in automobile dealership/service-centre accounting is an advantage.
Valuable knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel, GST and basic accounting principles.
Solid attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills.
Positive communication and organizational skills.
