: Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on, analytical, and result-oriented Process Engineer to drive process optimization, yield enhancement, and cycle-time efficiency at our primary manufacturing facility in Bhadravathi (Karnataka).

In this role, you will hold direct operational responsibility for optimizing the core thermo-hydraulic pressing, baking, and trimming workflows of our natural Areca leaf tableware production line. Working at the intersection of mechanical engineering, tooling calibration, and floor supervision, your goal will be to eliminate process bottlenecks, minimize raw leaf rejection rates, maximize press yield, and ensure zero-defect product output prior to dispatch to our Chennai processing hub.

Position Overview:

- Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer (Manufacturing & Process Optimization)
- Location: Bhadravathi Plant, Shivamogga District (Karnataka)
- Experience Required: 3-5 years in industrial process engineering, manufacturing operations, or continuous improvement within high-volume production environments (compression moulding, hydraulic pressing, packaging,



or automotive component manufacturing preferred).
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial/Production Engineering, or Tool & Die Making (NTTF / GTTC / CITD graduates preferred). B.Sc Science
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday | 9 AM to 6 PM (On-site).
- Reporting Line: Direct reporting Production Manager

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

- Thermo-Hydraulic Process & Cycle Time Optimization
- Yield Maximization & Rejection Reduction
- Tooling, Die Alignment & Maintenance Integration
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Floor Training

Candidate Profile & Requirements:

- Technical Background: Strong practical knowledge of hydraulic systems, thermal processing, compression moulding or die-cutting machinery, and basic PLC control loops.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in statistical process control, RCA tools (5-Whys, Fishbone diagrams), and waste elimination techniques.
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics Engineering. Tooling institute qualifications (NTTF, GTTC, CITD) are a robust advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Kannada (mandatory for daily floor management and operator training) and professional working proficiency in English (for technical reporting and executive communications).
- Location & Mobility: Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Bhadravathi / Shivamogga with a commitment to on-site floor management.

Salary:

Rs.45,000 to Rs.70,000 per month.

Eligible candidates with higher qualification will be compensated based on education qualification and relevant experience.
