Main Duties & Scope of the role

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Manager – Data Quality to lead our enterprise-wide data quality function. This role is responsible for defining and implementing data quality frameworks, managing a team of data quality professionals, and ensuring data integrity across systems to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, leadership ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute the organization’s data quality strategy, policies, and roadmap.
- Establish data quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks aligned with business goals.
- Champion a data quality culture across the organization through training and awareness programs.

2. Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data quality leads, analysts, and associates.
- Oversee team capacity planning, performance reviews, and career development.

3. Data quality oversight:

- Define and implement data quality standards, validation rules, and monitoring processes.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data across all systems (CRM, CMS, Web applications etc.).
- Investigate root causes of data quality issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.

4. Governance and compliance:

- Collaborate with the Data Governance team to ensure alignment with enterprise data policies, including data lineage and stewardship models.
- Support compliance with regulatory requirements through strong quality controls.

5. Cross functional Collaboration:

- Partner with IT, Data Engineering,



BI, Product, and Business stakeholders to ensure data quality requirements are embedded in systems and processes.
- Participate in major data initiatives including migrations, platform upgrades, and integrations.

6. Reporting and insights:

- Develop and maintain dashboards/reports that provide visibility into data quality trends, issues, and improvement efforts.
- Communicate data health status to senior leadership and recommend strategic improvements.

Requirements & Qualification

- 6-8 years of experience in data management, knowledge base operations, content management or information governance.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience leading data quality, knowledge management, or data governance functions within a mid-to-large-scale organization.
- Proven track record of building, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise knowledge bases, content repositories, or CMS-driven platforms.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing data quality frameworks, validation processes, governance policies, and audit mechanisms.
- Strong experience managing large-scale data entry, content migration, content standardization, and metadata management initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams, including Data Entry Specialists, Knowledge Base Administrators, Content Managers, and Quality Analysts.
- Experience establishing and monitoring KPIs, SLAs, and quality metrics related to data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
- Hands-on experience with workflow optimization, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Experience managing stakeholder requirements and collaborating with Product, Operations, Customer Support, IT, and Business teams.





Technical Knowledge

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis tools, including complex formulas, pivot tables, validation rules, reporting, and dashboards.
- Strong experience with enterprise CMS and Knowledge Management platforms
- Deep understanding of knowledge base architecture, taxonomy design, content categorization, metadata standards, tagging strategies, and information lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks, master data management (MDM), data stewardship, and compliance best practices.
- Experience with AI-powered knowledge management tools, content automation, search optimization, and intelligent content retrieval systems is highly desirable.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, ETL processes, and data migration methodologies is preferred.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
