Role Overview The Manager – Outreach and Marketing will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing marketing and outreach initiatives across online and offline platforms. The role requires strong event management skills, expertise in digital marketing, and the ability to lead a dynamic team to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Event Management

- End-to-end ownership of event delivery, from concept and budgeting to execution and closure.
- Lead event conceptualisation and budgeting, ensuring clear objectives and financial frameworks.
- Manage logistics, vendor coordination, venue arrangements, and on-ground execution.
- Oversee event design, branding, and collateral creation to maintain consistency with organisational identity.
- Handle invoicing, financial reconciliation,



and coordination with the Accounts team.
- Secure event partnerships, sponsors, and collaborators to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Ensure technical infrastructure (AV, IT, connectivity) is in place for seamless delivery.
- Liaise with universities for invoicing and follow-ups post-event.

Marketing

- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across digital, traditional, and collateral-based channels.
- Oversee social media presence, content calendars, and campaign execution.
- Lead scriptwriting, captioning, keyword optimisation, and approval processes for marketing content.
- Guide creative development for graphics, videos, and digital assets.
- Manage WhatsApp API content marketing and ensure effective direct communication.
- Conduct periodic website audits and edits across all offices.
- Plan and audit blog content to support SEO and brand visibility.

Branding

- Steward the organisation’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Develop annual brand orientation and collateral to align teams with brand direction.
- Maintain guidelines for logo usage, colours, and brand standards.
- Craft and refine brand story, founder bios, and company profiles for external stakeholders.
- Oversee premium profile creation for investor and partner engagements.
- Manage personal and organisational branding assets across digital platforms.
- Ensure physical office branding is maintained and periodically refreshed across all locations.

Qualifications & Skills

- Proven experience in event management and outreach.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, SEO, and performance marketing.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, especially with international partners.
- Ability to design and execute integrated marketing strategies.
- Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel to branch offices and partner institutions.
