Experience: Typically 3 to 6+ years in an automotive or mechanical CAE durability setting

Tools experience required: Ansa, Metapost, Hyperview, Nastran

Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile/Aerospace Engineering

Construct high-quality finite element meshes and models for body, chassis, and vehicle subsystems

Conduct durability simulations at both aggregate and full-vehicle levels.

Understand and translate durability requirements into quantifiable CAE simulation targets.

Perform correlation studies to validate the accuracy and confidence level of virtual analysis results against physical test data.

Develop complex vehicle-level CAE models supporting durability and structural performance evaluations

Pre-Processing (ANSA): Create high-quality finite element models (FEM),



including shell/solid meshing (hex/tet), spot welds/connections, assemblies, and contact definitions for sheet metal and plastic components

Post-Processing (META / MetaPost): Evaluate stress concentrations, deformation, and damage/fatigue results; extract critical data and generate automated or custom summary reports.

Collaborate with design and product engineering teams to provide simulation insights.

Interpret and document simulation results, highlighting critical design considerations.

Ensure timely delivery of simulation reports aligned with project milestones.
