Role & responsibilities :
Operate VTC machines at optimum and safe levels to achieve production targets.
Create CNC part programs for current components.
Perform tool setting and use measuring instruments accurately.
Follow process sheets and maintain inspection reports, NCRs, and CAPA records.
Maintain shop floor discipline and adherence to manufacturing systems.
Ensure compliance with Job Cards, Data Sheets, 5S, First Piece Approval records, and related documentation.
Control rework and rejection during machining processes.
Arrange tooling, jigs, and fixtures for upcoming setups.
Follow all safety guidelines during machine operation.
Maintain daily TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities.
Design or modify internal jigs and fixtures to reduce setup time with management approval.
Program and operate Vertical Turning Centers using Fanuc controls.
Preferred candidate profile
Support product development activities at vendor locations.
Coordinate with the tool crib for recent product tooling requirements.
Participate as a Cross Functional Team (CFT) member.
Develop multi-skilling capabilities to operate VMC, HMC, and VTL machines.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in CNC machining, preferably on VTC/VTL machines.
Hands-on experience with Fanuc controls.
Robust understanding of machining processes, tooling, quality systems, and shop floor practices.
Ability to read engineering drawings and optimize machining parameters.
Continuous improvement mindset focused on reducing setup time, rework, and rejection.
