Oxion Builders is looking for an experienced Civil Draughtsman with robust AutoCAD skills to prepare accurate architectural, structural, and construction drawings for residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 2D architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
Prepare structural drawings including foundation, footing, column, beam, slab, staircase, roof and lintel details.
Prepare plans, elevations, sections and working drawings for site execution.
Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Modify and revise drawings based on requirements from architects, engineers and site teams.
Coordinate architectural and structural drawings and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare basic 3D models/elevations using SketchUp or Revit.
Prepare as-built drawings and maintain proper drawing files and revisions.
Coordinate with site engineers/supervisors regarding construction requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 1 years of professional AutoCAD experience.
Robust knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting.
Ability to prepare structural drawings independently.
Valuable knowledge of residential building construction.
Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
Good understanding of dimensions, levels, detailing and drawing standards.
SketchUp or Revit knowledge is preferred.
Experience with commercial projects and site coordination is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Kerala construction practices is preferred.
Qualification Diploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, Civil Drafting or a related field is preferred.
