Key Responsibilities
Contact customers via phone, email or in person to collect overdue payments.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and negotiate payment plans when required.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
Monitor aging reports and prioritise high-risk accounts.
Resolve customer queries related to billing and payment discrepancies.
Coordinate with internal teams Sales, Finance and Legal for dispute resolution.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable collection laws.
Achieve monthly collection targets and reduce delinquency ratios.
Escalate non-responsive or high-risk accounts as per the escalation matrix.

Preferred
Prior experience in collections or recovery at an NBFC, bank, fintech or collection agency.
Exposure to digital lending, personal loans, short-term credit or salary advance products.
Familiarity with delinquency buckets, DPD stages, roll rates and recovery metrics.
Awareness of RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, the Fair Practices Code and recovery agent conduct norms.
