Role Description The Collections Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing collections activities for assigned portfolios, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments while maintaining professional and respectful customer interactions. This full time, in office role is based in Jagtial and involves monitoring overdue accounts, planning follow-ups, and guiding collection executives to meet recovery targets within regulatory and company guidelines. The role includes reviewing daily collection reports, analyzing risk and delinquency trends, and coordinating with branch staff and other departments to resolve customer issues and disputes.





The Collections

Manager will also implement and refine collection strategies, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure adherence to legal and compliance requirements.

Qualifications
Robust knowledge of collections processes, credit risk, and banking or financial services operations.
Proficiency in portfolio monitoring, data analysis, and use of basic office software for reporting and documentation.
Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
Experience managing field or branch teams, including setting targets, providing guidance, and monitoring performance.
Understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance standards related to collections and customer rights.
Ability to work in office in Jagtial, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Prior experience in collections, credit control, or related roles in banking or NBFCs preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related discipline is advantageous.
