We're Hiring: Creature Animation Supervisor / Lead (VFX) /n Company: People Media Factory /n Location: Hyderabad (In office) /n People Media Factory is looking for an experienced Creature Animation Supervisor / Lead to join our VFX team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering world-class creature performances while guiding and mentoring a team of animators on feature film and cinematic projects. /n What You'll Do: /n /n
Lead creature animation sequences from reference and blocking to final polish.

Create and supervise realistic performances for animals, monsters, and fantasy creatures.

/n
Review shots, provide constructive feedback, and maintain consistency across sequences.

/n
Collaborate with Directors, VFX Supervisors, Production, Rigging, CFX, FX, Lighting, and Compositing teams.

/n
Assign shots based on artist strengths and identify production risks early.

/n
Establish animation quality benchmarks and mentor junior/mid-level animators.

/n /n What We're Looking For: /n /n
7–12+ years of experience in feature film or VFX animation.

/n




3–5+ years specializing in creature or animal animation.

/n
Prior Lead or Supervisor experience preferred.

/n
Expert understanding of anatomy, locomotion, body mechanics, weight, balance, muscle movement, and creature performance.

/n
Solid experience animating quadrupeds, bipeds, birds, reptiles, and fantasy creatures.

/n
Excellent shot planning, blocking, staging, timing, and cinematic camera awareness.

/n
Robust proficiency in Autodesk Maya; Blender experience is a significant advantage.

/n
Knowledge of IK/FK workflows, animation rigs, constraints, and troubleshooting.

/n
Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Houdini, Motion Capture, or AI-assisted animation is a plus.
