Role Description The Deputy Editor will support the editorial leadership in planning, commissioning, and editing scripts.

This full-time, on-site role in Noida, involves managing a daily content pipeline, refining story angles, ensuring adherence to editorial standards, and maintaining consistency in tone and quality.

The Deputy Editor will collaborate with writers, reporters, video producers, and social media teams to develop engaging narratives and package stories for digital platforms. The person should also be comfortable in front of the camera.

Responsibilities include reviewing drafts, giving constructive feedback, fact-checking key details, monitoring audience engagement trends, and helping shape the editorial calendar.





The role also requires staying current with current media formats and best practices to keep the platform relevant and compelling.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong writing skills, on-screen presence and the ability to craft transparent, engaging, and accurate stories.
Candidates should possess a solid background in Journalism, including reporting fundamentals, ethical standards, and story development.
Candidates should possess Editorial skills, such as editing for structure, style, and clarity, and providing constructive feedback to contributors.
Candidates should possess familiarity with New Media, including digital publishing workflows, social platforms, and audience engagement tools.
Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, English, or a related field.
Additional beneficial skills include robust news judgment, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced newsroom.
Experience in lifestyle, culture, or feature storytelling, and prior work in digital media or infotainment platforms, is an advantage.
