Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in CAD/CAM, or ITI
Work Experience: 1–3 years

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Capture current product development requirements (technical details) from customers and the marketing department to initiate concepts and finalize designs.
Prepare concepts in CAD systems, including the Bill of Materials (BOM) and project cost for each concept.
Obtain approval for the final concept, quotation, BOM, final drawings, and project costs from customers, the marketing department, and top management.
Maintain project timelines and oversee project management.
Design molds, jigs, and fixtures using CAD systems.
Create laser cutting sheet metal drawings for vendors and the mold workshop.
Generate product, mold, jig, and fixture drawings for the mold workshop.
Prepare inspection sheets for quality control,



mold, and tool inspection.
Inspect molds, jigs, and fixtures, and finalize tools for production following trials with the production department and tool room.
Inspect sample products.
Maintain all records related to the design department.
Create required drawings for the maintenance, production, and purchase departments (e.g., rotomolding machine shafts, mold mounting frames, inserts, and clamps).
Create required drawings for the sales department (e.g., screen making).
Complete special assignments as requested by supervisors.
