About the role

Support and maintain Oracle databases and C++ applications running on Linux, ensuring high availability and performance in a energetic environment.

Key responsibilities

- Manage Oracle databases including installation, patching, backup, recovery, and performance optimization.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for C++ applications on Linux platforms.
- Monitor and manage batch jobs and workflows using Control-M to ensure timely task completion.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize application releases and resolve incidents promptly.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize system disruptions.

Required skills and experience

- 4 to 8 years of experience with Oracle database administration and support.




- Proficient in C++ application support within Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of database security, compliance, and patch management.
- Experience with backup, recovery, and performance tuning of Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools such as Control-M and incident management processes.

Nice to have

- Experience in proactive system alert monitoring and problem management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business support requirements.
