Job Title: Database - Postgres

Experience Required: 7 to 10 Years

Location: Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Chennai One IT SEZ (IG3 Infra Ltd), Tower 3 / ETL Building, 200 Feet Pallavaram -Thoraipakkam Ring Road, Chennai.

Mode of Interview: F2F/Walk-In is on 19th Sept 2026

Design multi-region high availability and disaster recovery frameworks, manage replication clusters, and execute point-in-time recovery (PITR).

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for critical outages, handle escalations, and guide L1/L2 operational teams.

Tune complex SQL queries, optimize indexes, configure autovacuum parameters, and adjust memory/kernel settings.

Deep knowledge of MVCC internals, streaming replication, partitioning, and EDB Postgres Advanced Server.

Cloud & OS:



Solid Linux administration skills alongside cloud database platforms like AWS RDS or Aurora PostgreSQL.

Upgrades

Oversee major/minor version upgrades, schema deployments, patch management, and security hardening (SSL/TLS).

Eligibility Criteria:

· Excellent Communication skills

. 15+ years of regular, full time education (10th + 12th + 3 years graduation)

· Graduate/ post-graduate degree
