Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead DB2 database migration and modernization from mainframe z/OS settings to DB2 LUW on AWS.
Drive DDL conversion and enhancement activities for target database structures.
Plan and execute data migration, security alignment, and database cutover readiness.
Define high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency approaches for cloud-hosted databases.
Partner with internal teams and implementation vendors to deliver modernization milestones and technical decisions.

Skills Required:
9.5 to 15 years of relevant database administration and architecture experience.




Solid hands-on experience with IBM DB2 on z/OS and DB2 LUW.
Proven background in mainframe database architecture and migration planning.
Experience supporting large-scale database modernization on AWS.
Ability to manage database design, DDL conversion, and migration execution for enterprise environments.

Valuable to Have
Exposure to Windows, Linux, or UNIX environments.
Experience with data migration tooling and cross-platform database transitions.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
