Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to develop and integrate embedded software modules for our FCC platform on an eVTOL project. The successful candidate will work under the software lead to ensure compliance with DO-178C DAL A standards. This role demands expertise in Embedded C, RTOS environments, and thorough testing and debugging practices.

Ideal candidates have a solid foundation in embedded systems and are capable of producing technical documentation to support verification and certification deliverables.

2 to 5 years

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain embedded software modules for the FCC platform using Embedded C.
Implement software requirements and designs in an RTOS-based setting.
Perform unit testing, software integration testing, debugging, and defect correction.
Analyze issues, support root-cause investigation, and document resolutions.
Participate in requirements, design, code, test, and peer reviews.
Use version control and configuration management practices for software baselines and changes.




Develop and integrate communication interfaces and device-level software as applicable.
Prepare technical documentation and support verification and certification deliverables.

Qualification Criteria:
Solid hands-on programming experience in Embedded C.
Experience with RTOS concepts and real-time embedded applications.
Experience using version control systems such as Git or SVN.
Knowledge of embedded communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, or Ethernet.
Experience in unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code reviews.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Aerospace, or a related discipline.
