Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Designer to prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for industrial/EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare electrical and instrumentation design drawings as per project requirements.
Develop electrical layouts, cable tray layouts, lighting layouts, equipment layouts, and wiring diagrams.
Prepare instrumentation layouts, instrument hook-ups, cable schedules, and related drawings.
Prepare and update single-line diagrams (SLD), schematic diagrams, and termination drawings.
Develop cable schedules, instrument schedules, and material take-offs.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, civil, and other engineering disciplines.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation design and drafting.




Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering design software.
Knowledge of electrical layouts, cable trays, wiring, and equipment drawings.
Knowledge of instrumentation layouts, hook-ups, cable schedules, and instrument drawings.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Positive understanding of industrial/EPC project workflows.
Knowledge of EPLAN, SmartPlant, AVEVA or similar software will be an advantage.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Robust attention to detail and accuracy.

Education
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation, or a relevant engineering discipline.

Preferred Experience
Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Power, or Process projects.
Experience preparing electrical and instrumentation construction drawings.
Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
