1.0 JOB SUMMARY The Embedded Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, programming, testing, and integration of embedded hardware and software systems. The role involves working on microcontroller/microprocessor-based systems and supporting the development of reliable electronic solutions for the company's products and projects.
2.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop embedded systems and firmware for electronic products and applications.
Develop, test, debug, and maintain embedded software using C/C++ and other relevant programming languages.
Work with microcontrollers and microprocessors such as ARM, STM32, AVR, PIC, ESP32, or equivalent platforms.
Develop and integrate communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS-485, USB, Ethernet, etc.
Interface and integrate sensors, actuators, displays, motors, and other electronic components.
Perform hardware and software debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Support PCB design, board bring-up, testing, and validation activities.
Prepare technical documentation, test reports, design documents, and user manuals.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Quality, and R&D; teams.
Conduct prototype development,
testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
Support product integration and field testing activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable quality, reliability, and safety standards.
3.0 REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Robust knowledge of Embedded C/C++ programming.
Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and microprocessors.
Positive understanding of embedded hardware architecture and electronics.
Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and RS-485.
Knowledge of RTOS and embedded Linux will be an added advantage.
Experience in debugging tools such as JTAG, SWD, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, etc.
Understanding of schematic reading and PCB-level troubleshooting.
Knowledge of version control tools such as Git will be preferred.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
4.0 QUALIFICATION B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Electrical
