Our client is a rapid-growing company in the prefabricated steel structures industry, providing end-to-end solutions from design and international sourcing to local fabrication and installation. They are seeking for a Fabrication Plant Engineer who is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and control of shop floor fabrication activities, ensuring that production is executed in accordance with approved drawings, quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements.

Ensure WPS, WPQ, and approved welding procedures are followed.
Coordinate dimensional inspections before dispatch.
Coordinate traceability documentation with QA/QC
Verify weld identification, welder traceability and support NDT activities and NCR corrective actions.
Ensure member marking throughout fabrication and also record fabrication status from cutting to dispatch
Allocate work between fabrication teams and ensure coordination production sequence with supervisors
Requirements:
Diploma or B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in structural steel fabrication
Minimum 2–3 years in workshop/shop floor supervision.
Robust knowledge of Tekla drawings, fabrication processes, welding standards, AISC, MBMA, ASTM, ISO 9001, and OSHA
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, production planning, and communication skills
