Key Responsibilities
Perform final inspection of machined components as per engineering drawings, specifications and inspection standards.
Verify dimensions, tolerances, surface finish and other critical characteristics using appropriate measuring instruments.
Handle and operate instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Thread Gauges, Plug Gauges and other precision measuring equipment.
Inspect components using CMM reports / inspection reports wherever applicable.
Review inspection results and ensure all required dimensions and characteristics are within specified limits.
Identify and document rejection, rework and non-conforming components.
