About the Role:
Development of trending clothing designs from concept to sample stage.
Conduct research on fashion trends, fabrics, and materials.
Create technical drawings, mood boards, and design presentations to communicate your ideas.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pattern makers, sample makers, and production partners.
Ensure designs meet brand aesthetics, customer needs, and seasonal direction.
Work within timelines to deliver high-quality clothing line.
Prepare tech packs for costing, merchandising and production.
Present best product collections based on buyer/client requirements.
Requirements:
Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience.
Solid portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
Proficiency in design software, such as: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), CAD,
CorelDraw, Freehand, Microsoft Office.
Understanding of garment construction, textiles, and current fashion trends.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Solid comprehensive knowledge of
Line development.
Cost sheets.
Design specifications.
Ability to work well under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
