About The Territory The Territory is a wildlife and travel company creating highly curated private wildlife experiences across India, Africa, and beyond.
We are a small, creative, hands-on team, and visual storytelling is at the heart of what we do — from wildlife films and social media content to destination stories, campaigns, digital creatives, and brand communication.
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer & Video Editor Intern who genuinely loves creating, experimenting, learning, and solving creative problems.
This is not just a role where you’ll be given repetitive design tasks. You’ll get to work closely with the team and contribute to real projects that go out into the world.
What You’ll Do
- Design creatives for Instagram, YouTube, websites, campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Edit short-form videos, reels, social media content, and longer-form video projects.
- Create thumbnails, posters, carousels, stories, banners, and campaign creatives.
- Work with photographs, video footage, typography, graphics, and motion to create engaging visual stories.
- Understand a creative brief and turn an idea into a strong visual output.
- Assist in developing and maintaining The Territory’s visual identity across platforms.
- Experiment with different design and editing styles while maintaining brand consistency.
- Organize and manage design assets, footage, project files, and exports properly.
- Work on multiple creative requirements and manage deadlines.
- Collaborate with the team, take feedback positively, and improve your work through iterations.
- Most importantly — think, question, experiment, and find solutions when something doesn’t work.
What We’re Looking For
Technical Skills
You should have working knowledge of:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Premier Pro
Adobe Creative Suite
DaVinci Resolve
Experience with motion graphics, animation, color grading, sound design, or other creative software is an added advantage.
You don't need to know everything. We care more about how quickly you learn and how you approach a problem.
More Important Than Software
We are looking for someone who:
- Loves design, video, photography, storytelling, or visual communication.
- Has a strong eye for composition, typography, pacing, and visual details.
- Is curious and constantly wants to learn.
- Can take a rough idea and figure out how to turn it into something meaningful.
- Has a problem-solving mentality rather than waiting for instructions for every step.
- Is comfortable experimenting and trying new things.
- Pays attention to small details.
- Takes ownership of their work.
- Can accept feedback without taking it personally.
- Is willing to go the extra mile when the work demands it.
- Most importantly, actually enjoys the work they do.
- Wildlife & Travel Enthusiast? Even Better.
You don't need to be a wildlife expert.
But if you are someone who gets excited by wildlife, travel, photography, filmmaking, nature, storytelling,
or exploring new places — you'll probably enjoy working with us.
We believe good creative work comes from people who are genuinely interested in what they are creating.
What You’ll Get
- Hands-on experience working on a real premium wildlife & travel brand.
- Opportunity to work on real campaigns and content, not just practice assignments.
- Exposure to photography, filmmaking, branding, digital marketing, and storytelling.
- Prospect to work with professional wildlife photographs and video footage.
- Creative freedom to experiment and bring your ideas to the table.
- Direct interaction with a small, experienced team.
- A chance to build a strong portfolio through real-world work.
- An environment where your ideas are heard and good work is appreciated.
Who Should Apply?
This role is ideal for:
- Students or recent graduates from Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Film, Animation, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or related fields.
- Self-taught designers and editors with a strong portfolio.
- Someone who may not have extensive professional experience but has the curiosity, passion, and mindset to learn.
Your portfolio matters more to us than your degree.
If you have created something you're proud of — a reel, edit, poster, campaign, YouTube video, thumbnail, illustration, or even a personal project — we want to see it.
