German Translator | One-Time Project | Remote (India)

Curio Digital Therapeutics is looking for a German Translator to translate English content from our digital health app into German.

This is a one-time project and would be a good prospect for someone with a strong academic background in German, Translation, Linguistics, or German Studies who is interested in healthcare and digital products.

What you’ll do:

- Translate app content and educational materials from English to German
- Ensure translations are accurate, natural, culturally appropriate, and easy to understand
- Maintain consistent terminology across the app
- Proofread and review translated content for quality and accuracy
- Ensure clinical and behavioral health content is translated appropriately and sensitively
- Work with our team to clarify terminology or context when needed

What we’re looking for:

- Formal education/studies in German — such as German Studies, German Language, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Strong translation and writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail




- Ability to understand and accurately translate healthcare/clinical content
- Prior experience with healthcare, medical, mental health, or digital product translation is a plus
- Previous experience with app or website localization is a plus

Translation Quality Assessment: As the content is for a digital health product and our client has very specific quality and language requirements, shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short translation test as part of the selection process. This will help us assess language proficiency, accuracy, terminology, tone, and attention to detail before moving forward with the engagement.
