Role & responsibilities
Provide L2 technical support for Google Cloud Serverless services, including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, and related cloud infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues through detailed root cause analysis and effective problem-solving.
Manage and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.
Configure and manage IAM roles, permissions, and service accounts following security best practices.
Support CI/CD pipeline deployments using GitHub Actions and other DevOps automation tools.
Diagnose and resolve application, API, networking, and deployment-related issues within SLA timelines.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement fixes and service improvements.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide 24x7 operational support through rotational shifts and handle customer escalations effectively.
Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and implement configuration best practices.
Track incidents, service requests, and change activities while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile




2 to 6 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud Operations, DevOps, or Technical Support settings.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, and Serverless Architectures.
Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
Experience in building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Valuable understanding of IAM, Service Accounts, RBAC, and Cloud Security best practices.
Working knowledge of Docker, containerization, Linux administration, and troubleshooting.
Experience in monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and production support.
Ability to diagnose and resolve application, deployment, networking, and API-related issues.
Exposure to cloud storage, cloud networking, and security services within GCP.
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset and ability to work in rotational shifts.
GCP certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE) or other Google Cloud certifications are preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
