We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Accountant based in Ahmadabad India, to support our U.S. business operations within the Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with robust accounting fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to collaborate across time zones.

Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing (Accounts Payable): Manage vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain AP records.
General Ledger Account Analysis
Reconciliation and Reporting
Collections from Customers (Accounts Receivable): Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements.
Cash Application: Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Inventory Month-End Close Reports: Prepare and reconcile inventory reports to ensure accurate month-end financials.
Cost Roll-Up:



Analyze and consolidate cost data to support pricing and profitability assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or related.
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to U.S. GAAP.
Robust English communication skills – both written and verbal.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel – including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
Adaptable work hours to ensure effective collaboration with the U.S. team.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:
Experience working with U.S.-based companies.
Certification in CMA/MBA/ICWA/CA

Work Hours: Flexible, with overlap during U.S. business hours as needed.
