Role Description The Food and Beverage Captain is a full time, on-site role based in the Mohali district, responsible for overseeing daily operations on the restaurant floor. The role includes supervising service staff, coordinating table allocations, and ensuring adherence to service standards during each shift. The captain monitors food service quality, checks order accuracy, and works closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service and timely delivery of dishes.

Daily tasks also involve interacting with guests, resolving concerns,



promoting menu items, and ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The Food and Beverage Captain is expected to support training of team members, assist with shift planning, and contribute to maintaining hygiene, safety, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

- Strong Supervisory Skills to lead, motivate, and guide service staff on the floor.
- Ability to uphold and implement defined Service Standards for food quality, hygiene, and guest experience.
- Hands-on experience in Food Service, including order coordination, table management, and banquet or special event service.
- Excellent Customer Service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction, problem-solving, and relationship building.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with guests, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, and briefing staff.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel food and beverage operations, ideally in a supervisory or captain role.
- Knowledge of basic POS operations, billing processes, and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operations.
- Relevant diploma or certification in hospitality management or food and beverage service is preferred.
