Role Description

As a Flutter Developer Intern (Unpaid) at Small Fare®, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications across the company’s portfolio of digital-first brands. You will assist in implementing user interfaces in Flutter, integrating APIs, debugging issues, and optimizing app performance under the guidance of senior developers. Daily tasks may include writing clean, maintainable Dart code,



participating in code reviews, collaborating with designers and product teams, and contributing to documentation.

This is an internship role and is fully remote, offering flexible learning opportunities and exposure to real-world product development in fintech, events, and creator-focused platforms.

Qualifications

- Foundational experience with Flutter and Dart, including building basic mobile app interfaces and components.
- Understanding of mobile app architecture, state management (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod), and responsive UI design.
- Ability to work with RESTful APIs, JSON data handling, and basic backend integration concepts.
- Knowledge of software development best practices such as version control (Git), debugging, and code testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a rapid-paced, remote environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, marketing).
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in fintech, events, e-commerce, or creator-focused technologies and building user-centric digital products.
