Role Description The Finishing Incharge role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.

The Finishing

Incharge will oversee the final stages of garment production, including checking seams, trims, closures, labels, and overall garment appearance to ensure each piece meets brand quality standards. This role will coordinate with production, quality control, and merchandising teams to manage finishing schedules, prioritize orders, and ensure timely dispatch.



Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising finishing staff, assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and maintaining a clean and organized finishing area.

The Finishing

Incharge will also implement finishing guidelines, troubleshoot issues, track defects, and recommend improvements to processes and standards to support consistent, premium output.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of garment construction, finishing techniques, and quality standards within apparel manufacturing.
- Experience supervising floor staff, managing workflows, and coordinating with production and quality teams.
- Ability to inspect garments for defects, fit, and finishing details, and to implement corrective actions effectively.
- Familiarity with production planning, order tracking, and maintaining documentation related to finishing and dispatch.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple orders under tight timelines.
- Comfort working on-site in a rapid-paced manufacturing setting and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Previous experience in fashion or garment manufacturing, particularly in women’s wear, is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, Textile Technology, or a related field is an advantage.
