Job Summary: looking for experienced IPDRG Medical Coders to join our growing RCM team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate must have solid inpatient coding experience and a strong understanding of DRG/APC grouping, coding compliance, and insurance rules.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign accurate ICD-10-CM/PCS codes for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department records.
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with all regulatory and client-specific guidelines.
Audit and review coded data for quality and consistency.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding changes and clinical documentation standards.
Work collaboratively with clinical documentation, operations, and quality teams.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Minimum 1–8 years of overall experience with at least 3 years of coding in an acute care setting (inpatients, outpatients, or emergency).
Thorough understanding of Clinical Documentation and Query Process.
Robust knowledge of medical record content, including Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
Expertise in EHR/EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athena.
In-depth understanding of coding compliance, DRG/APC grouping, and insurance rules.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
