Role Description This is a full time, on-site Import Documentation role based in Chennai. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and managing import documentation in accordance with international trade regulations and company procedures. The individual will coordinate with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring that shipment details, customs documents, and compliance records are accurate and timely.





Daily tasks include data entry into logistics systems, tracking shipments, resolving documentation queries, and supporting import/export processes to prevent delays. The role also includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant import regulations and contributing to continuous improvement of documentation workflows.

Qualifications
Experience in import processes, including handling Import and Import Export documentation accurately and on time.
Knowledge of Export procedures and basic International Trade regulations and practices.
Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office and logistics or ERP systems.
Ability to work in office in Chennai, manage multiple shipments and deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team.
Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations is an advantage.
Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, international business, or a related field preferred.
