Role Description This is a full-time, in office Import Procurement role based in Gurugram. The position is responsible for managing end-to-end import procurement activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, coordinating with international suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and components.

The role involves understanding of business plan , evaluating mrp , supporting vendor selection, and assisting in contract negotiation to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and compliance with company standards.

Daily tasks include monitoring inventory requirements, tracking shipments, resolving discrepancies with documentation and deliveries, and collaborating with finance, logistics, and production teams. The Import Procurement skilled will also analyze market trends, cost structures, and supplier risks to support strategic sourcing decisions and continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications
Solid procurement and import purchasing skills, including experience handling Purchase Orders and end-to-end sourcing processes.




Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation, including assessing quality, reliability, cost competitiveness, and compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for cost analysis, demand planning, data-driven decision-making, and risk assessment in import procurement.
Knowledge of international trade practices, incoterms, customs procedures, and documentation related to imports.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, production, and quality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or procurement software.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in procurement or logistics are an advantage.
Prior experience in manufacturing or HVAC/consumer durables industries is preferred.
