Role & responsibilities
Provide pre-test and post-test counselling to clients as per ICTC guidelines.
Counsel patients on HIV/AIDS prevention, transmission, testing, and treatment.
Provide psychosocial support while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Facilitate referrals and linkages with ART centres and other healthcare services.
Maintain counselling records, registers, MIS, and required reports.
Coordinate with medical, laboratory, and healthcare teams for effective patient support.
Preferred candidate profile
Relevant experience in HIV/AIDS counselling, ICTC, ART Centre, or NACO programs preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Robust counselling, documentation, and patient-handling skills.
Ability to work with sensitivity and maintain confidentiality.
