Role Description The Facilities Manager is a full-time in office role based at IIRM’s campus in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of buildings, classrooms, offices, and common areas, ensuring that facilities are clean, functional, and compliant with relevant regulations.

The Facilities

Manager coordinates and supervises maintenance staff and external vendors, manages repair and service schedules, and handles routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other infrastructure systems. The role includes managing space allocation, overseeing security and housekeeping services, monitoring inventory of supplies and equipment,



and supporting events and academic activities with necessary facility arrangements.

The Facilities

Manager also prepares reports, manages budgets related to facilities, and collaborates with leadership to plan improvements and upgrades aligned with institutional goals.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building operations, or estate administration within an educational, corporate, or institutional setting.
- Strong skills in maintenance coordination, vendor management, and oversight of housekeeping, security, and support services.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems, with the ability to schedule and monitor preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards, regulatory compliance, and emergency procedures relevant to campus or office environments.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage facility-related budgets.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills for working with faculty, staff, learners, service providers, and administrative leadership.
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools and basic facility management software or digital tracking systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, administration, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in educational institutions or training centers and familiarity with the needs of classrooms, laboratories, and academic infrastructure is beneficial.
