Role Description The Electrical Equipment Testing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves performing routine and specialized testing of LT panels and related electrical equipment, including inspection, measurement, and verification of performance parameters against technical standards. The engineer will prepare detailed test reports, document findings, and recommend corrective actions where needed, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Day-to-day activities include coordinating test schedules, collaborating with design and production teams, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting quality assurance initiatives. The role also requires maintaining testing instruments, updating test procedures as standards evolve,



and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, LT panels, and protection schemes, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and single-line diagrams.
- Experience in electrical equipment testing and commissioning, including use of testing instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, relay test kits, and power analyzers.
- Understanding of relevant electrical safety standards and regulations, and proven ability to implement safe work practices in testing environments.
- Ability to analyze test data, identify deviations, and prepare clear, structured technical reports and documentation.
- Good problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis and practical corrective actions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with production, quality, and design teams on-site.
- Comfort with basic computer tools and software for data logging, report preparation, and documentation management.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in electrical testing.
- Prior experience in panel manufacturing or industrial electrical installations is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad and adapt to project-based schedules and client requirements.
