We are looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Design Engineer to lead HVAC and cleanroom design activities for pharmaceutical, API, and healthcare projects. The candidate will be responsible for HVAC design, engineering calculations, preparation/review of drawings, technical documentation and coordination with clients, vendors and internal engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
Design and engineering of HVAC systems for pharmaceutical and cleanroom projects.
Perform heat-load calculations, air quantity calculations, AHU sizing, fresh air requirements and pressure cascade calculations.
Develop and review HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, AHU layouts, piping layouts, schematics and equipment schedules.
Prepare and review BOQs, technical specifications and design documents.
Develop HVAC zoning based on cleanroom classification, temperature, RH, ACH and pressure differential requirements.
Ensure designs comply with applicable GMP, ISO 14644, ASHRAE, ISHRAE and project-specific standards.
Coordinate HVAC designs with Architecture, Process, Electrical, Plumbing, Utility and Civil teams.
Review technical offers, equipment datasheets, vendor drawings and contractor submissions.
Provide technical support during project execution, installation, testing, commissioning and qualification.




Attend technical discussions with clients, consultants, vendors and contractors.
Review work prepared by junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Identify design improvements and cost-effective engineering solutions.
Ensure timely completion and quality of HVAC design deliverables.

Required Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
6–10 years of relevant experience in HVAC design.
Experience in pharmaceutical/cleanroom projects will be preferred.
Solid knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP or other HVAC design software is an advantage.
Valuable knowledge of HVAC systems, cleanroom concepts, AHUs, ducting, chilled water systems and ventilation.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently handle HVAC design activities and guide junior engineers.

Preferred Experience Experience in pharmaceutical turnkey/consultancy projects, including concept design, detailed engineering, tendering, execution and commissioning, will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
