Role & responsibilities:
Run the complete performance management cycle, from goal setting through KRAs, KPIs and self-assessments to final appraisal, across all departments.
Administer payroll and leave across all locations, with attendance and employee records maintained on the HRIS.
Build and run the annual training and development calendar, from identifying needs through to attendance, feedback and effectiveness.
Own recruitment end to end, from manpower budgeting and job specifications through sourcing, shortlisting and the preliminary interview, to joining.
Run induction and orientation for all recent joiners, along with reference checks and document diligence.
Generate offer, appointment, increment and warning letters, resolve employee grievances, and keep monthly MIS and manpower reports going to senior management.
Preferred candidate profile:
5 or more years running HR operations end to end,
rather than one specialism inside a larger team.
Has owned a full performance management cycle, not just supported one.
Payroll and leave administration across more than one location.
Recruitment from manpower planning to joining, including conducting the first round of interviews.
Hands-on with an HRIS and able to build the MIS that comes out of it in Excel.
An engineering degree is preferred and an MBA in HR is a bonus. Neither is a requirement.
Note:
The position is based in Vile Parle West, Mumbai, and is fully office based. There is no remote or hybrid arrangement.
This is a generalist position by design. It covers the whole of HR rather than one area, so candidates looking to specialise would find the breadth frustrating.
The HRIS in use is RAMCO.
