Job Title: Junior DevOps Engineer

Experience: 6 Months – 1 Year
Assist in managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications on Linux servers.
Work with Git, GitHub, and GitLab for version control and repository management.
Assist in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Support GitOps practices for automated and consistent deployments using tools like ArgoCD/FluxCD.
Help manage virtualization environments using Proxmox VE.
Gain hands-on exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP as applicable).
Assist with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Support setup and monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
Write basic automation scripts using Bash/Python/Shell scripting.
Assist with reverse proxy and web server configuration (Nginx/Apache).
Support Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration and maintenance.
Perform basic server management, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks.




Collaborate with the development and DevOps team on real-time projects under guidance from senior engineers/team lead.
Maintain proper documentation of processes, configurations, and deployments.
Follow company processes, best practices, and security guidelines.

Requirements
6 months to 1 year of hands-on or internship experience in DevOps or related fields.
Basic understanding of Linux core concepts and command-line operations.
Familiarity with Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
Exposure to Docker and basic Kubernetes knowledge.
Basic scripting knowledge (Bash/Python) is a plus.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana) is a plus.
Exposure to IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible) is a plus.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong willingness to learn current tools and technologies.
Valuable communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
