About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm. The candidate should have practical exposure to accounting, GST, direct taxation and routine compliance work, along with a valuable understanding of day-to-day accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for clients.
Prepare and maintain sales and purchase invoices, accounting entries and supporting records.
Handle monthly GST compliance and related work, including preparation of data and reconciliation.
Assist in GST returns, GST reconciliations and other indirect taxation assignments.
Assist with Income Tax / Direct Taxation related work, including preparation of data and working papers.
Handle TDS-related accounting and compliance work.
Perform bank, ledger and other account reconciliations.
Maintain proper documentation and records for client assignments.
Coordinate with clients for obtaining required financial and tax-related information.
Assist seniors in audit, taxation and compliance assignments as required.
Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and taxation work.
Work on accounting software and MS Excel for maintaining and analysing financial data.

Educational Qualification




B.Com / M.Com preferred.
CA Dropout may also apply.
Candidates with relevant accounting and taxation qualifications will be preferred.

Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Chartered Accountant / CA firm – compulsory.
Practical experience in GST monthly compliance and taxation work.
Basic to valuable working knowledge of Direct Taxation and Indirect Taxation.
Valuable understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Candidate must be residing in Navi Mumbai – compulsory.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
Ability to work independently as well as under the guidance of senior team members.
Good communication and client coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be someone who has hands-on experience in a CA firm and is comfortable handling regular accounting, GST, Income Tax and compliance assignments rather than having only theoretical knowledge. Candidates meeting the mandatory CA-firm experience and Navi Mumbai residence criteria will be given preference.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
