Job Title: Qualified/ Senior Mechanical Designer. - 5 to 10 years' Experience

Location: Pune India.

Responsibilities:

- Perform mechanical design and engineering activities for Slab Caster and/or Billet Caster systems.
- Prepare and review basic engineering documents, layouts, GA drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
- Develop detailed mechanical designs in compliance with Danieli engineering standards and international codes.
- Prepare equipment specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation.
- Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal departments for technical discussions and engineering clarifications.
- Support manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities when required.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, cost, and project schedule requirements.
- Participate in technical reviews, design improvement initiatives, and value engineering activities.
- Provide technical support for problem-solving during project execution and production phases.

Technical Requirements:

- Capable to make Basic Engineering / Layout drawings.
- Capable to make Basic Detail / manufacturing engineering drawings.
- Performs engineering drawings with tools using CAD 2D,



Inventor provided by the company in accordance to internationally accepted design standards of Danieli.
- Should be able to demonstrate accurate calculations on all aspects of design and innovations.
- Prepare Specifications for machine equipment. - for Manager and above post.
- Knowledge of International STD and Tropicalization.
- Technical interaction with customers and vendors.
- Ability to make Bill of material.
- Candidate should have Problem Solving and production support capability.

Soft Skills:

- Auto CAD - Proficient.
- Autodesk Inventor - Proficient.
- Microsoft Package (Like Outlook, Team, Excel, Word etc.)
- PLM (Optional)

Required Knowledge and Qualifications: Minimum Qualification required Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering in Mechanical discipline
