Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Network Support Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and support our organizations networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), assist in resolving technical issues, and support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain the performance of network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
Respond to network outages and service requests, diagnose problems, and implement timely solutions.
Configure install and maintain leased line connections to ensure seamless internet supplies to computers and IP phones
Configure, install, and maintain network hardware and software.
Perform regular network performance tuning and capacity planning.
Support users with connectivity issues, VPN access, and remote working solutions.
Assist in implementing network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.




Collaborate with IT and system administrators to support server and application performance.
Document network issues, resolutions, and create knowledgebase articles.
Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.
Stay updated with emerging network technologies and recommend improvements.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Application or related field.
5–10 years of experience in network support or network administration.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, Sonicwall, Sophos, D-linnk routers, etc.).
Familiarity with network monitoring tools
Experience with VPNs, firewalls, and remote access tools.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
Exposure to a broad range of IT infrastructure and technologies
