Role Description The Middle School English Teacher is a full-time, in office role based at Kognitics The International School in Bengaluru South. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing lesson plans, assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and differentiating instruction to meet varied learning needs.

The role involves fostering reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, integrating technology and creative activities, and maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom workplace. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues,



participate in staff meetings and career development, communicate regularly with families, and contribute to school events and co-curricular activities.

Qualifications
Strong teaching skills with experience in Middle School education and a commitment to age-appropriate pedagogy.
Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development for English language and literature.
Excellent communication skills for clear instruction, constructive feedback, and collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or license is an advantage.
Ability to create inclusive, learner-centered classrooms that support diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
Competence in classroom management, assessment strategies, and use of educational technology and digital resources.
Demonstrated commitment to professional growth, teamwork, and participation in school-wide initiatives.
Prior experience in an international or multicultural school setting is beneficial.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
