As a Junior News Editor at DailyBrief, you will play a pivotal role in curating and delivering high-quality, timely, and insightful news to our discerning readers.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Curate news articles and reports from various sources to ensure a well-rounded, informative, and engaging news feed for our users.
Work closely with senior editors and reporters to identify and select stories that align with DailyBrief's editorial guidelines.
Assist in editing and proofreading news content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to our editorial standards.
Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm, pitch, and develop unique story ideas that resonate with our audience.
Stay updated on current events, emerging trends, and evolving news formats to help DailyBrief remain at the forefront of the industry.
Actively participate in editorial meetings to discuss news coverage and story ideas.




Assist in managing content distribution and scheduling to ensure timely and productive delivery of news updates to our users.
Handle occasional social media updates and engage with our audience to gather feedback and insights.

Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a news firm or editorial role is a plus.
Strong English writing skills with the ability to craft explicit and concise news articles.
